Financial Additions has partnered with an establishing but growing company in their search for a Tax Coordinator.  This is a great entry level job to get your foot in the door!
 
Job Summary:
The Tax Coordinator will support the Tax Department by collaborating with internal and external resources to handle various responsibilities, including tax research, payment processing, and administrative tasks. This role requires a high level of professionalism and adherence to the partnership’s core values and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tax-related research and assist in preparing responses to jurisdictional notices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners on tax and related matters.
  • Process and coordinate vendor payments, including coding for refund checks.
  • Prepare and post wire transfers for tax payments, ensuring accurate coding to general ledger accounts.
  • Draft and organize documents for signatures and mailing.
  • Maintain the Tax Department’s files in a systematic and organized manner.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Tax Department.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a corporate setting.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong research skills, utilizing various tools and systems.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity.
  • Eager to learn and understand business operations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual communication (phone, web, or video conferencing).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and ethical work environment.

Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP, OpenText, and Power BI is a plus.
