Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for an experienced and degreed staff accountant in Dallas and El Paso for a 4-6 month contract-to-hire HYBRID position.  Once hired permanently, the company offers fantastic benefits!  

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare journal entries, schedules and analysis for month-end close.
  • Compile balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and calculate royalty accrual and payments.
  • Work on intercompany billings and make sure that the intercompany accounts balance at the end of the month.
  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly income statement reports.
  • Perform income statement and balance sheet variance analysis 
  • Work with internal and external auditors providing supporting documentation as needed.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for SEC reporting.
Qualfications include:
  • 2+ years in staff accountant role
  • Solid Excel skills required, experience using Oracle a plus
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP
  • Strong communcator - both written and verbal.
  • Detailed and good analysis skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
