Job Description

Financial Additions has a contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant/Inventory Analyst at a large oil & gas company in Dallas.  

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform end-to-end accounting and analysis for all fuel movements 
  • Ensure that all inventory activities, transportation costs, and operations costs are captured accurately
  • Reconcile daily fuel inventory for pipelines or terminals
  • Monitor and work towards improvement in key metrics
  • Analyze financial results and offer insight to where improvements can be made

Qualifications include:
  • 2+ years in accounting role with inventory experience
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Alteryx, RightAngle highly preferred
  • Tech savvy with ability to pick up new software quickly  nd easily
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills - comfortable working on team from multiple departments
  • Works well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
