Job Description
Financial Additions has a great contract-to hire opportunity for a Senior Accountant with family office and franchise experience. This is an onsite position located near Plano, TX.
Responsibilties include:
- Maintain general ledger entries related to franchise operations and monitor compliance with financial policies.
- Review and reconcile franchisee financial reports ( P&L, royalty payments, marketing contributions. etc)
- Prepare and provide analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on franchise financial performance.
- Audit franchisee records periodically to ensure accurate reporting of sales and fees.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes related to franchise accounting.
- Respond to inquiries from franchisees regarding accounting procedures and reporting requirements.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits, including royalty audits.
- Monitor delinquencies and aging accounts; escalate issues to leadership and support resolution.
Qualifications include:
- 3–5 years as Senior Accountant, with 2+ years in franchise, multi-unit, or retail accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to engage with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in retail or food service industries a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA designation or active pursuit, a plus.
