Responsibilties include:
Review franchise contracts to ensure financial terms (fees, reimbursements, etc.) are correctly applied.
Monitor franchisee compliance with financial reporting requirements
Ensure franchise-related accounting practices follow GAAP and internal policies
Lead month-end close process for franchise operations.
Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis reports for franchised units.
Ensure accurate recording of franchise revenue, royalties, franchise fees, and marketing fund contributions.
Reconcile monthly sales reports from franchisees against cash receipts and POS data.
Requirements include:
2+ years experience in Senior Accounting role working with franchisees and/or restaurants
Proficiency in GAAP, NetSuite, and strong Excel
Analytical and detail-minded
Highly organized and excellent communication skills
