Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for a Senior Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Plano.  Great company and management team in a shared services environment. Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).  Ready to interview and hire!

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare JE entries (and supporting documents) for month-end close duties
  • Prepare month-end close for 30+ sub-modules
  • General ledger review, account reconciliations, royalties
  • Ensure financial statements are accurate
  • Perform variance analysis
  • Provide internal and external audit support
Qualifications include:
  • 4+ years as staff accountant or 2+ years as senior accountant
  • Proficiency handling audit and month-end close activities
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment a plus
  • MS Office (advanced Excel)
  • Experience in one or more ERP:  Oracle, Hyperion, Workivia Track Record, preferred
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
  • Bachelors of Accounting or Finance
