Financial Additions is assisting an established and growing client looking for a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting will be responsible for:
  • Preparation of financial statements, footnotes, other disclosures
  • XBRL tagging requirements for SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and other SEC filings as needed
  • External financial statement presentation/disclosures
  • Prepare and support quarterly earnings releases and other investor materials
  • Works closely with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audit process and ensures compliance with SOX controls
  • Assists with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and SEC reporting regulations, including preparing for the SEC’s proposed climate change disclosure requirements

Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting Background should include:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Required
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 6+ years’ progressive accounting experience
  • Big 4/National firm public accounting strongly preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience with corporate accounting, financial reporting, SEC filings and/or technical accounting research
  • WDesk/Workiva platform and XBRL tagging preferred
