Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for an Sales/Sourcing Assistant to support the sales team of a medium-sized company near Addison.  This is an in-office contract-to-hire position and is ideal for someone with industrial purchasing/customer service and/or logistics experience.  Great company culture and stability!  Quick interview and hire, too!  

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare quotes for sales team and/or clients
  • Review Purchase Orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Assists with credit applications and works with Credit department regarding release of shipments,  credit letters, etc. 
  • Coordinates live loading container appointments with freight companies
  • Maintains up-to-date files for sales team
  • Will cross train in Fulfillment department.
Qualifications include:
  • 2+ years in customer service or sales/purchasing support role
  • Tech savvy with  proficiency using CRMs, Word, Power Point and Excel 
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Experience with transportation/shipping a plus
  • Highly organized and great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Associates or Bachelor degree high preferred
