Financial Additions has partnered with a Pharmaceutical Distribution Company in search of a Payroll Tax Coordinator.  This is a Hybrid position, 2 days in office, payrate $20.24 per/hr.

Payroll Tax Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Completing and remitting new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.
  • Preparing and reconciling payroll monthly tax impound journal entry.
  • Handling escalated tax tracers and communicating with taxing authorities to resolve account issues.
  • Performing all year end reconciliations to ensure Wage Statements and tax filings are accurate.
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Following up on newly applied for state accounts and updates Third Party vendors of new account information SUI rates, etc.
  • Performing periodic and quarterly tax reconciliations to ensure tax filings are correct.
  • Auditing Tax accounts for activity and coordinating with Payroll Tax Coordinator to close any inactive accounts.
  • Coordinating with Corporate Tax Department when opening new local and state tax accounts.
  • Communicating with partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.
  • Assisting in updating tax accounts related to mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.
  • Assisting in filing tax returns and amendments that cannot be filed by third party vendor.
Payroll Tax Coordinator background should include:
  • High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience
  • MS Excel (intermediate)
  • ADP experience
