Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for a Director of Accounting over Grants for a large growing company in Dallas. This role is hybrid, offers competitive pay and great benefits.

Director of Accounting will be responsible for:
  • Plans, coordinates and directs the post award functions for grants, contracts and donor sponsored activities
  • Leads the preparation of annual budget associated with government grants
  • Reviews restricted accounts to ensure appropriate release of funds
  • Reviews grant and contract budgets and proposals
  • Ensures proper fringe benefit, overhead and cost sharing rates are utilized
  • Oversees grant billing and monitors grant receivables from federal and state departments
  • Staff Supervision and training

Director of Accounting background should include:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • CPA Required
  • 8+ years accounting for a large organization
  • Understanding of GAAP principles related to restricted donor sponsored gifts and contracts
  • 5 years experience with Government Grants
  • Experience researching 2CFR200
