Contributions Associate - Accounts Receivable
Job Description
Financial Addiitons is searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong reconciliation and data entry skills. The position is onsite near Addison and offers full employer-paid medical benefits, pension participation, weekly pay, and a 37.5-hour work week. Great work-life balance and company culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Deposit checks remotely and confirm successful bank submission
- Balance and reconcile daily deposits and employer activity
- Process and reconcile incoming employer contributions, including posting checks and wire transfers
- Review, verify, and post employer remittance reports
- Draft and issue discrepancy notices, delinquency letters, interest charge letters and follow-up correspondence
- Respond to employer, participant, and Union inquiries
- Research and resolve discrepancies and errors
- Perform general office duties, including mail and maintaining accurate filing systems
Qualifications include:
- 2-4 years in AR role with reconcilation, research, and customer service duties
- Tech savvy/can learn new programs with beginner-intermediate Excel skills (formulas, formatting, uploads)
- 10-key by touch/heavy numerical data entry
- Basic accounting and reconciliation
- Familiarity with editing and compiling PDFs in Adobe Acrobat
- Strong communicator with professional demeanor and customer service skills
- HIgh school diploma; some college a plus.
