Job Description


Financial Additions has partnered with a leading company in the financial services industry in search of a Billing Analyst.
This position will be fully remote, however, you must be able to work in EST. This role is contract for at least 3 months to assist with as pecial project. 

Billing Analyst responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation, and maintenance of general ledger accounts
• Preparing and analyzing specified accounting records for month-end closing
• Performing monthly financial analysis and preparing journal entries and postings to the general ledger for various accounts
• Coordinating accounting matters between regional accounting teams, divisional associates, and department managers
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations, sub-ledgers, balance sheet accounts, expense analysis, daily/monthly cash balance reporting, monthly bank reconciliation, and depreciation records
• Recording transactions to journals and the general ledger
• Reviewing customer contracts and billings
• Preparing trend analysis and other special analyses as required
• Generating ad hoc accounting reports as needed
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Billing Analyst qualifications should include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience using SAP and Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
• 3+ years of related billing experience
