Job Description

Financial Additions is assisting a large real estate company looking for an Assistant Controller to join the team. This position offers a hybrid schedule and excellent benefits.

Assistant Controller responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for financial reporting and oversight of real estate, private equity, fund products and credit strategy
  • Oversees loan recording or bond income on the REIT and fund level activity
  • Responsible for capital calls, quarterly financials, investor reporting and distributions
  • Oversees AP process and staff
  • Assists with calculation or review of fees including incentive, advisory, and acquisition or deposition on real estate investments
Assistant Controller background should include:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • 3+ years of Real Estate, REIT or Private Equity
  • Real Estate Fund Experience preferred
  • Yardi Experience highly preferred
