Job Description
Financial Additions is searching for an Acccounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Richardson, TX. This is a hybrid role after training.
Responsibilities include:
Manage collections for assigned customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
Process customer payments, cash applications, and deposits.
Reconcile accounts and research payment issues, including chargebacks and unauthorized deductions.
Resolve billing and collection disputes through communication with customers and internal teams.
Prepare weekly aging/trial balance reports and other AR reporting.
Release order holds in a timely manner and help prevent future collection issues.
Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and efficiency.
Qualifications incude:
2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other accounting/business software.
Collaborative team player who can effectively work with customers and internal departments.
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
