Job Description

Financial Additions has partnered with a distribution company in search of a n AR Clerk.
This role will be in the office daily and is contract to hire.

Position will be responsible for:
  • Review credit applications and credit reports to determine applicant’s credit worthiness within approval parameters.
  • File customer’s credit package electronically and set up in the system.
  • Provide information and/or documentation to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain current and accurate account notes.
  • Assist in releasing pending orders that are within approval perimeters, includes working minimum of one late date a week.
  • Review credit limit on accounts for increase consideration based on payment record.
  • Notify the manager of negative payment patterns.
  • Provide updates on accounts to Collections Manager, Operations and Sales as needed.
  • Interact with Collection Manager, Project Managers, Facility Directors, General Managers, Account Executives and/or Executive Director of Sales to resolve client issues.
  • Facilitate and/or attend conference calls specific to collection activity on client accounts.
  • Completes side projects/tasks as assigned by the manager.
Background should include:
  • 2+ years of credit, and/ or commercial collections experience
  • Must have strong MS Excel skills
  • SAP is highly preferred.
