Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a great company located just west of downtown Dallas! Established and well-respected company offers stability and growth opportunities! This is an on-site, permanent (not contract) role. Ready to interview and hire!
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate vendor payments and handle vendor inquiries
- Reports sales tax based upon paid invoices
- Receive and verify expense reports
- Credit outstanding obligations upon payment, identify discount opportunities and issue PO amendments or stop-payment order as needed.
- Manage petty cash records
- Other AP duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years in Accounts Payable role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn new software
- Highly organized and accurate in work tasks
- Professional in demeanor and dress; trustworthy and able to keep confidentiality
- High School diploma required, some college a plus
- CAPP preferred
