Job Description

Financial Additions has a great contract opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to work at a fast-growing, multi-location, medical company near Addison.  As a contractor, this position is onsite, but once converted to a permanent employee, the position will be hybrid.

Duties include:
  • Receive, review, and reconcile invoices/statements for multiple locations
  • Maintain accounts payable ledger
  • Retain copies of vouchers, invoices/statements, or other correspondence necessary for electronic files
  • Void and issue stop payments as needed
  • Research and correct discrepancies
  • Calculate available account balances
  • Assist in monthly reconciliation of  bank statements  
  • Perform other related duties necessary to pay the obligations
Qualifications include:
  • 2+ years in Accounts Payable position
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Reconciliation skills - analytical and detail oriented
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • HIgh School graduate, some college a plus
