Job Description
Financial Additions has a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable/JIB Accountant. This is an in-office position, with bonus potential, located in Dallas.
Responsibliites include:
- Code, obtain approvals, and process invoices for multiple entities.
- Scan payables and revenue documents for backup.
- Process Joint Interest Billing.
- Correct journal entries as needed.
- Work with vendor to initiate revenue distribution; research discrepancies.
- Reconciliation of JIB and general ledger clearing accounts.
- Mail JIB and revenue checks. and process ACH cash receipts.
- Accounts Receivable
Qualfications include:
- 2+ years' experience in AP/JIB accounting role with AP/AR responsiblities
- Good general ledger knowledge
- Solid communicator - both written and verbal
- Oil & Gas software experience, WolfePak a plus.
- Thorough understanding of JIB and revenue distribution.
- Degree not required, but degree or some college is a plus
