Accounts Payable Associate
Job Description
Financial Additions has a great contract-to-hire opportunity for an Accounts Payable Associate with Great Plains/D365 experience. This is a hybrid positon (Fridays are remote) located in north Dallas.
Responsibilites include:
- Code and process invoices, verify approvals.
- Research and resolve discrepancies and vendor credits.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Coordinate payment runs, and handle vendor inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close as requested.
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years in full cycle AP role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail oriented, able to change priorities as needed, and meet deadlines with accurate work.
- Strong proficiency using Excel and Word.
- Experience using large ERP system (prefereably Great Planins/D365) and Coupa.
- Understanding GL chart of accounts to ensure proper invoice coding.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Ability to work overtime as need to meet accounting deadlines.
- College degree (or some college) a plus.
