Job Description
Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Senior-level Accounts Payable professional for an in-office position in downtown Dallas. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity reporting to the AP Manager. Great salary and bonus potential once converted to permanent employee status. Accounting team is growing and they are looking for the right AP rock star to join them!
Responsibilities include:
Review, validate, and process detailed/complex invoices that are coded by 3rd party service provider.
Work with AP Manager to ensure AP workflows are efficient, compliant, and completed on time.
Identify and research AP discrepancies, and resolve coding or processing errors.
Maintain organized AP records and documentation.
Assist with month-end close activities as needed.
Qualifications include:
5+ years' experience in a position responsible for high-level AP duties.
Thorough understanding of coding (experience in the O&G industry is a plus).
Experience evaluating and implementing efficient AP workflows and working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with WolfPak or similar oil & gas accounting systems is a plus.
Experience working with third-party service providers is desired.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
College degree desired, but not required if candidate has great experience.
