Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Accounting Specialist for an in-office position in NW Dallas.  This position will encompass Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and billing  - candidate must be well-rounded on all these areas.  Company will be relocating to the Uptown area of Dallas at the beginning of 2025.  Great opportunity in the financial industry!  

Duties include:
  • Process invoices and travel expense reports
  • Payment posting and business-to-business collections of past due balances
  • Ensure correct coding billing and invoices
  • General Ledger account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close and other accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications include:
  • 2+ years in Accounting role that included AP, AR, billing, and reconciliations 
  • Strong and professional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, analytical thinker, and dependable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Sage and Expensify a plus!)
  • Some college preferred
