Job Description

Financial Additions has partnered with a Pharmaceutical Distribution Company in search of an Entry Level Accounting Clerk.  This is a remote position.

Accounting Clerk will be responsible for:
  • Analyzing monthly project level financial reports, calculating, and entering revenue adjustments and expense postings to the project accounting system for various project accounts.
  • Project work breakdown structure maintenance in the project accounting system.
  • Reviewing accounts receivables invoices for completion and accuracy and posting them to the project accounting system.
  • Leading accounts receivables collection efforts.
  • Researching and resolving internal and external customer inquiries; may interact directly with customers if necessary.
  • Calculating and applying foreign currency related adjustments and conversions on global shared project billings and expenses.
  • Analyzing and auditing consulting projects as closure stage for accuracy and completeness; work directly with Project Manager(s) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Recording transactions to journal and general ledger.
  • Preparing trend analysis and other special analysis as required.
  • Generating ad hoc accounting reports as needed.
  • Performing related duties as assigned.
     
Accounting Clerk background should include:
  • High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • MS Excel (intermediate)
  • Microsoft dynamics 365
