Financial Additions has a client seeking an Accountant for an 8-month temporary contractassignment in the Irvine, CA area. This role will support the finance team with general accounting duties, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and project expense tracking.
Position: Accountant Job Type: Temporary Contract Assignment Length: Approximately 8- months Pay: $40-$45/hour Location: Irvine, CA Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
Reconcile bank activity, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, and sales/use tax transactions.
Track project expenses and support variance analysis.
Review invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and related documentation.
Prepare reports and provide accounting support to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with ERP/system implementation support as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field required.
3-5 years of accounting or general ledger experience preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting cycles.
