Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead for a contract-to-hire in Richardson, TX.  This is an onsite position for a growing company that is ready to interview and hire!  
Respoonsibilites include:
  • Oversee full A/P cycle and provide guidance to AP staff,  as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GAAP, and internal policies; adjust AP processes and proceudres as needed.
  • Manage payment schedules and timely disbursement of funds via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
  • Ensure invoices are properly authorized and match purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies when necessary.
  • Maintain the A/P aging report, monitor outstanding payments, and address any overdue invoices. 
  • Reconcile the accounts payable subledger with the general ledger monthly, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepare accruals, adjusting entries, and relevant reports for month-end close.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving issues and answering inquiries as needed.

Qualifications include:
  • 3-5 years in Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst/Lead role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Good communicator - both verbal and written
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables amd VLOOKUPS)
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Accounting degree a plus, but not required.
