Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for a sharp senior accountant for a hybrid role near Lewisville, Texas.  This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilites include:
  • Prepare journal entries to facilitate the month-end close process.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries for financial reporting.
  • Variance analysis for P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Reconcile bank activity to the general ledger; reconcile sales and use tax transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve variances to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and submit tax reports.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
  • Post intercompany transactions accurately and timely.
Qualfications include: 
  • 2 – 4 years in senior accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions 
  • Proficiency with accounting and project management software (Infor M3 a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field from an accredited university
