Financial Additions has a 3-6 month contract for a degreed Staff Accountant (or other strong accounting professional) who has strong reconciliation and research skills working with large data sets. This is an in-office position located in Irving - they are looking for a quick interview and start date! Great role for accountant between jobs!
Responsibilities include:
Reconcile customer accounts across invoices, credits, payments, and remittances
Research incomplete data sets to identify gaps and inconsistencies
Investigate discrepancies, document root cause, and work interdepartmentally for resolution.
Support month-end close and maintain accurate reconciliation documentation
Suggest workflow improvements that can provide data integrity
Qualifications include:
2+ years in accounting role that had extensive reconciliation duites
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Ability to work through complex data and resolve discrepancies
Great communication skills and highly organized
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (or related field)
