Job Description
Financial Additions has partnered with a company in Dallas to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This position is a contract-to-hire role that is in-office daily, but offers some flexibility for working from home on ocassion. Ideally looking for staff accountant with 2-3 years experience who is ready to move into Senior Accountant role.
Responsibilites include:
- Assist with the month end close for assigned entities -prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain, analyze and adjust general ledger accounts for monthly/quarterly reviews plus year end reporting.
- Lead audit schedules and assist with audit preparation
Qualifications include:
- 2-3 years as staff accountant and ready for next step
- Strong Excel skills and thorough understanding of GAAP
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verba
- High attention to detail and eagerness to grow in position
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
