Staff Accountant
Job Description
Financial Additions has an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for an early-career staff accountant (1-2 years of experience), or a recent college grad with an accounting or finance degree and a good GPA. This is an onsite position at a stable oil and gas company in north Dallas.
Duties include
- Assist with daily accounting activities for multi-locations
- Credit card reconciliation and management
- Support in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with month-end close duties
- Work interdepartmentally to research and resolve accounting discrepanices
Requirements include:
- Accounting or Finance internship while in college or 1-2 years in staff accountant role
- Strong Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in multi-location environment a plus
- Detailed, analytical, and organized.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
