Job Description


Financial Additions has a great contract-to-hire opporutnity for an experienced staff accountant.  This is a hybrid role located near Carrollton, Texas.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with external reporting and audits
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses
  • Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Qualifications include:
  • 2-3 years in a staff-level accounting position (with JE, GL,  reconciliation, and analysis duties, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Stong Excel skills (must know PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
