We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting function and support the continued growth of a well-established, private equity backed organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes.
The Accounting Manager will lead a team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reporting, while partnering closely with leadership to provide timely and actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and inventory-related accounting
Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, ensuring adherence to internal policies and accounting standards
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and internal management reports
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced internal controls
Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
