Job Description

Financial Additions has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Sr. Accountant for their Mansfield, MA office.
This is in the office daily for training and will become hybrid after training.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support development of operational accounting policies and procedures, including internal controls around financial reporting
  • Serve as backup for all corporate accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, month-end accruals, reconciliations, and monthly financial close & reporting activities
  • Serve as key team member to partner with national accounting teams to drive successful annual audit outcomes
  • Assist with technical accounting research and analysis for complex business arrangements
 Position Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
  • 5+ years of related accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus
  • ERP experience with multiple platforms is preferred
  • CPA is preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel experience
