Job Description

Financial Additions has partnered with a restaurant supply company in search of a Sr. Accountant. 
This role is in office and will be contract to hire.

Position will be responsible for:
  • Maintain A/R and A/P sub-ledgers, including retrieving source documents, validation, and reconciliation against transactions posted in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries.
  • Analyze financial statements, identifying and explaining variances.
  • Manage all aspects of sales and use tax, including preparing and filing returns and remitting sales tax.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting using Excel and other tools.
 
Background should include:
  • 4+ years of accounting and month end close experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookup, etc.).
  • Degree is preferred but not required.
