Job Description

Financial Additions is searching for a fractional CFO for a 4-6 month contract role in Dallas.  This is an onsite position that will provide strategic direction for accounting, reporting, and compliance.  

Responsibilities include:
  • Drive process improvements and lead all accounting operations (GL, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance).
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Oversee external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Qualifications include:  
  • 10+ years' progressive accounting career with at least 4 years in executive leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, regulatory compliance and mortgage securitizations.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, foster collaboration, and influence at the executive level.
  • Change agent able to modernize and implement updated systems to scale the organization.
  • Resort development accounting experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA (MBA preferred)
